Krossbreed - Carved In Stone 2008
Belgium
2008 and Krossbreed has released their new and fresh disk named "Carved
In Stone". Krossbreed is an unsigned band that exist for five years now
and the only recordings this band has done is a five track demo last
year called: Enjoy the Rage. On that demo they have included a video
from the track Come Closer, haven't seen that but if their material
sounds like this ep then it should be pretty cool. This EP has also
like their first demo also five mid and low tempo thrash metal songs
with a good and descend recording sound. I quite like this kind of
thrash metal with here and there some depressive moves like Type O
Negative and Life Of Agony.
The guitar riffs and drums are quite basic but hits you right in your
face and that is what I like about Krossbreed, simply played thrash
metal with an aggressive flavor. The vocals are like the instruments,
aggressive with here a multiply throat. The production sounds if they
are playing live and sounds quite flat but their music is making it all
up and makes this disk good to listen too. I'm quite sure that we need
to keep an eye out for Krossbreed especially the underground thrash
metal fans because they got lot's of good shit recorded on this album.
