Krossbreed exists as a band from 2003 and since then they have some releases with the latest one, the “Carved In Stone” EP / MCD.
From the first listening and while the first track of the release “Legacy” comes on, I assumed that this is a thrash metal band but more down tempo, but after a couple o minutes some metal core influences came up, element that seems to be not bad, because it fits well with the whole music of Belgians.
In the same music motive is the second track of the EP, entitled “Leave you Bleeding” with more thrasy elements, in the vein of Sodom, but with some good, melodic licks also. Next track that comes up is the homonymous track, that despite the fact that has a very up-tempo intro, in its evolution, becomes slower and close to Pro Pain’s music. The forth track entitled “Right Were It Belongs” sounds as the previous tracks as well. The MCD closes with the track “Means To An End” that sounds close to Pantera’s music style.
In general, the MCD is a release that will appeal many fans of the hardcore / metalcore / thrash scene. Is a nice effort without something special, that would make it unique

PS. The fisrt 100 copies of the EP will also contain an extra DVD featuring the live percormance of the band at Wacken Oper Air 2007 and more.
