I
was always in the impression a band called Krossbreed would play metal
core. Some bands can’t be named different, but I’ve never been a fan of
the term.
In the case of Krossbreed I’d have a look into the band name to seek what kind of music they play.
I’d call “Enjoy the rage” a musical mix between thrashing hardcore and
hardcore thrash. First band I had to think of was the earlier Sepultura
(especially the vocals) and musically speaking Pro-pain and some
Suicidal Tendencies. Accompanied by some tight solos, we can state this
band is on the right track.
Professional musicians combined with good songs are, especially for a
second demo, a promising thing. Just listen to “Again” and you will
only be able to agree with me.
What I personally lack is a new touch or own sound. Let’s hope they
work on that aspect for the release of their full album and then we
have another great Metal band in our small country.
Nice extra is the video clip of the song “Come closer” on the disc. You
can see effort is put into this band and this only leads to
recognition! Enjoy the rage.
